The final rate must be agreed for each specific case and it will depend on volume, subject, file format, timeframe of the specific assignment and payment terms.

Quotation method:

Customers requirind an accurate and final quotation must provide a representative sample of their documents or files. The quotation will be based on source text word count when the text is available in electronic format or the target text word count otherwise.

Quotations for revision, editing and proofreading can be estimated only upon examination of the translated material and will be invoiced according to the time required, unless different methods have been agreed before the start of the work.

Acceptance conditions:

My promise to all customers is to never accept any work beyond my expertise. All rates and delivery dates provided before receiving the complete project will be formally confirmed only after reception of all material to translate. Any quotation prior to the file reception must be considered as not final and exclusively as an estimate. I only accept work accompanied by a formal Purchase Order that must include complete details about the project and service required, the files format, the terminology to use and all the payment details agreed (dates, rate, method of payment and accessory costs).

Payment:

Standard payment term is within 30 days after date of invoice. The preferred payment method is by bank transfer to my business accounts in the UK or in Italy. I do not accept bank cheques. I also accept, for small jobs, payments on-line via Paypal.
